The Integrated Area Development Program (RAFI-IAD), and the Culture & Heritage Unit of the
Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI-CHU) have joined forces to inventory existing native handicrafts found in the municipalities of Cebu’s seventh congressional district.

While towns in the seventh congressional district boast some of Cebu’s most famous tourist destinations like the majestic Kawasan Falls in Badian or the vibrant underwater seascapes of Moalboal, there are several lesser-known tourist spots that would satisfy any nature lover or adventure seeker’s interest.

Selling candles, walking through streets, building houses for the poor, and interacting with farmers may not be one’s idea of a fun activity on a trip to a different country, but that certainly was not the case for Cebu’s visitors recently.

Midwives and nurses from local government units in the seventh district of Cebu underwent a cancer training as part of efforts to promote cancer awareness through early detection.

The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI), in partnership with the Cebu Provincial Tourism Office and the Department of Education (DepEd), held the “Sayaw, Sugboanon! Cebuano Folk Dance Workshop” last August 7 to 9 at the Cebu Provincial Capitol Social Hall in Cebu City.

More than 200 Grade 6 students and teachers of the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) held their annual Integrated Learning through Adventure Program or iLead Program of the Kool Adventure Camp of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI-KAC) in Balamban, Cebu.
