Members of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Integrated Area Development (IAD) program of Cebu’s seventh congressional district recently learned what it takes to develop and manage a community-based sustainable tourism site.

The second season of the Capitol Citizenship Leadership Academy (CCLA2) ended with 30 graduates getting new ideas and learnings on how to become better leaders and public servants.

The Integrated Area Development Program of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI-IAD) and the eight (8) municipalities of Cebu’s seventh congressional district, in partnership with the Province of Cebu and district officials, are intensifying efforts to reduce poverty within the district by creating conditions for balanced socio-economic development through an integrated, participatory and results-based approach.

Some 52 youth answered the call for servant leadership during the 6th Cebu Young Leaders Summit (CYLS) held at the Kool Adventure Camp of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI-KAC) last October 17 to 20, 2018.

The RAFI Toastmasters Club (TMC) inducted its new members and installed a new set of officers for the toastmaster year 2018 to 2019. Held last August 24, 2018 at the Casa Gorordo Museum grounds, the theme of the ceremony was “Old Meets New” which signifies the turning over of leadership to the new set of officers.

The Metro Cebu Development and Coordinating Board (MCDCB), through the Research, Program and Organizational Development Program Management Office, and in partnership with the Cebu Provincial Government, held the second Purok Talks on Oct. 3, 2018 at the Grand Convention Center of Cebu.
