2025 RAFI Annual Report: Pagpahiuli
Every tree begins with a seed. Every community begins with a story. And every story of restoration begins with the choice to grow again.
In 2025, RAFI’s story reflected the essence of Pagpahiuli—a reminder that restoration is not simply about returning to what was, but nurturing what has been rebuilt toward what it can become. Like a native tree that takes root, grows through changing seasons, and stands stronger over time, our communities hold stories of resilience, renewal, and hope.
Throughout this Annual Report, native trees become symbols of the stories that shaped RAFI’s year—each species reflecting the strength, adaptability, and interconnectedness found in the communities we serve. Behind every number are lives transformed, partnerships strengthened, and collective efforts that continue to grow.
Last year, RAFI reached more than 350,000 lives and touched over 271,000 individuals across seven sectors in seven LGUs in Cebu. Beyond these numbers, RAFI continued to advance its long-standing initiatives in cancer awareness and screening, forest conservation, and culture and heritage preservation. Every milestone represents a story of restoration in motion.
More than looking back, Pagpahiuli is about moving forward with intention—guided by resilience, strengthened by partnerships, and anchored in what matters most: empowering communities to thrive. Like forests that continue to regenerate, RAFI’s work continues to grow—rooted in lessons from the past and reaching toward a more sustainable future.
