Kool Adventure Camp (KAC), the flagship leadership and citizenship program of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) is now ready for 2018 after its 26 Operations and Support Staff went through a three-day Challenge Ropes Course (CRC) review last Jan. 3 to 5, 2018 at its education center in Balamban.
The CRC review is a requirement set by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT), the world’s leading and largest American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the accredited standards developer focused solely on the challenge course industry.
“The training aims to review the standard skills in running a CRC course and to PASS the skills assessment stipulated in the internal CRC processes. The results from the CRC review will serve as basis for incident reporting, field observation, and feedback system,” said Jay Alera, KAC Operations Support and Safety Manager and Level 3 Challenge Course Manager full practitioner.
Together with Alera are KAC Youth Development Programs (YDP) Facilitators and Level II Advanced CRC Practitioners Kristy Ann Diaz, Nina Credo, and Richard De Los Reyes.
The Review is part of KAC’s commitment to safety as its paramount priority in delivering world-class programs and services, and dedication to equipping organizations and individuals to be leaders of change through life-changing powerful learning experiences at par with the best adventure education centers in the world.
