Del Monte Philippines Turns over Fruit Cocktails to RAFI and Partners

Del Monte Philippines partnered with the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI) and turned over 423 cases of Del Monte Fruit cocktails to the RAFI Dolores Aboitiz Children’s Fund (RAFI DACF). Cases of fruit cocktails were distributed to RAFI DACF partner organizations and healthcare facilities within Cebu.

The fruit cocktails benefited various social organizations, schools, and hospitals. Since the onset of the pandemic, Del Monte Philippines has been a key strategic partner in providing support to frontliners, the homeless, and street children in Cebu.

Among the beneficiaries of the Del Monte Fruit Cocktails were Sangguniang Kabataan Basak Lapu-Lapu, Banilad Elementary School, Cubacub Elementary School, Don Gerardo LL Ouano Memorial National High School, LAMAC Elementary School, Banilad Center for Professional Development, Cebu City Nutrition Council, Good Shepherd Foundation, Little Lambs-Missionaries of the Poor, Missionaries of Charity, Presentation Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Rise Above Foundation, SOS Children’s Village, Perpetual Succour Hospital, Chong Hua Hospital Fuente, Cebu Velez General Hospital, Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital, Cebu Puericulture Center & Maternity House, Inc, St. Vincent General Hospital Cebu, Inc., Adventist Hospital Cebu, Cebu City Medical Center, Visayas Community Medical Center, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, Southwestern University Medical Center, Cebu North General Hospital, St. Anthony Mother & Child Hospital, the Mega Isolation Facility, and the Department of Health VII.

Previously, Del Monte Philippines turned over cases of fruit juice and spaghetti to RAFI partner organizations. Through Del Monte Philippine’s support, the Dolores Aboitiz Children’s Fund continues with its mission in supporting communities in championing children.

“On behalf of Kythe Foundation, Inc, our beneficiaries, and their families, we would like to thank the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, through the Dolores Aboitiz Children’s Fund and Del Monte Philippines, for donating 30 boxes of Pineapple Orange Juice that were distributed to our patients and to some of our medical frontliners here at the Cebu Cancer Institute,” said Shalom Rea Bernales of Kythe Foundation, Inc.

The Dolores Aboitiz Children’s Fund of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI-DACF) aims to enable communities to champion for children to reach their own potentials. Its Grants Program supports initiatives promoting the welfare and development of children through Early Education and Health and Nutrition.
