On its 52nd year, the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) will continue paddling together to achieve its goal of building happy and livable communities.

Last Nov. 16, 2018, RAFI celebrated its 52nd year with activities that highlighted the bugsay principle of the late RAFI president Roberto “Bobby” Aboitiz. This year’s Founders’ Day celebration went with the theme “Bugsay. Forward. Together.” The event was held at the Grand Convention Center of Cebu.

One of the activities of this year’s anniversary celebration was the honoring of the five, 10, 15, and 20-year service awardees.

The awardees were:

The highlight of the night was the awarding of the most outstanding employee through the coveted 2018 RAFI Exemplary Employee Award (REEA). This year’s winner was regional audit manager Ricardo “Ric” Mariscal, who has been with RAFI for 21 years already.

In his acceptance speech, Mariscal expressed his gratitude to the Foundation and stressed the importance of having the right work attitude and completing tasks with diligence.

To cap the celebration, talented RAFInians serenaded the crowd.
