True to its purpose of providing an efficient learning environment to the schoolchildren of Cebu, the Education Development Unit of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI-EDU) collaborated with the Municipality of Sibonga for the construction of 12 new classrooms. 

After months of hard work and commitment, teachers and students from the beneficiary schools (see table below) received the new classrooms during a turnover ceremony held last Sept. 26, 2018. The ceremony was attended by Sibonga Mayor Caroline Bacaltos, Vice Mayor Cirilo Apuda, Schools Division Superintendent Rhea Mar Angtud, Public Schools District Supervisor Ma. Chona Redoble, and RAFI-EDU Executive Director Ernesto Alix.

The total project cost amounted to P10.2 million, with the Municipality of Sibonga providing P810,000 as counterpart fund.
