Last December 9 and 10, Casa Gorordo Museum (CGM) held a Christmas bazaar participated by various crafts makers, artisans and a some of our nanays from RAFI Micro Finance. It was a fun-filled weekend as our museum guests enjoyed gustatory delights and unique craft items by our fellow Cebuanos.
The Christmas bazaar became an opportunity for our guests to find unique gift ideas; from homemade cinnamon buns by Haps Homemade Goods to assorted brownies and breads by Jaclyn’s Bakery and some cookies by Sweet Memories Pastries and Desserts which came all the way from Bohol. There were also no shortage in satisfying sugar cravings; Comida de la Isla with their special bottled spreads, sauces and chili powder. Molinos de la Especia, Inc. were also present with their spices that will surely tickle everyone’s taste buds.
Cebu craft makers also displayed craft items such as colorful notebooks and journals by Papers & Tschai, hand-painted cards and postcards by Bored & Crafty, dreamcatchers by Chingkaling Creatives and catchy Philippine themed souvenir items by InspirePH. Our RMF nanays also got a chance to sell their items such as bags, ready-to-wear clothing and home items.
Events like these are a great opportunity for different Cebu-based, Visayan crafts makers alike to showcase their goods for the everyone to enjoy.
